Dear comrades,

Barely 10 years ago, on February 13, 1996, you took the initiative to launch a broad and powerful movement, which has already deeply changed the face of Nepal and is arousing hope among the revolutionary proletarians and oppressed people around the world.

By firmly upholding Marxism-Leninism-Maoism and above all, by applying it in a creative manner in the concrete conditions of Nepal, you made another proof of the basic fact that no one and nothing can stop the masses once they are consciously mobilized under the leadership of a genuine vanguard communist party.

The big imperialist powers are enforcing their domination on the world proletariat and people in a more and more merciless way. They are hoping to indefinitely perpetuate their unjust rule -- a rule that is mortgaging the humanity’s future, more than ever.

The people’s war you are leading and the stunning achievements that the people of Nepal has already accomplished under your leadership are the best answers one can give to the arrogance of those who are claiming to be the world masters.

In taking the responsibility of initiating and leading the people’s war, you also challenged our whole movement: now it is our turn to uphold the revolutionary ideology of our class -- Marxism-Leninism-Maoism -- and to act accordingly in order to transform the current resistance of the proletariat and the world peoples into a powerful and renewed revolutionary torrent that will put back to the forefront the hope of a world free of any kind of oppression or exploitation: our communist future!
