A LETTER FROM CPEB(ML)RED FLAG ON  STATE REPRESSION

BY GOVT.COMBINED FORCE AND 'BANGLABHINI'

Comrade&Friends,

        Government has chalked out a blue print of killing revolutionaries all over the country and are implementing that. Where ever, our Party the CPEB (ML) [Red Flag] is working in the aim of performing the democratic revolution, with the help of the poor and landless peasantry along with other toiling masses and democratic forces, under the leadership of the proletariat, working for the ‘lands and power to the peasants’, in every of those places, the power possessing reactionary classes, Government and Administration in combination are killing the revolutionaries, burning their houses and extensively oppressing the people. In the same manner they had chosen the way of killing and oppressing the other revolutionary Parties and Factions [i.e. PBSP (MBRM), CPEB (ML), PBSP (CC), CPEB (ML) (Janajuddha), New Revolutionary Communist Party, Maoist Communist Party of East Bengal (ML) and others]. Govt is cunningly taking various strategies in various regions of the country.

        In greater Rajshahi region, Govt and Admin under the disguise of so-called Jagrata Muslin Janata Bangladesh [JMJB] Bahini are abducting the people, in the doubt of Party workers or supporters, and breaking their legs and hands, perforating their eyes, hanging them upside down beating them until blood blown out from their mouths and killed some of them. Along with these, to terrify other villagers they are announcing the screaming of the tortured by loud speaker. The so-called Bangla Bhai and his prominent cadres so long have raped several women and severed their faces by razor blade, and are forcefully collecting tolls from the people extensively, terming the toll as ‘hadia’ and ‘yanot’ (as if all those misdeeds become legal by giving them Arabic name). And all these activities they are conducting under police protection & cooperation. This private bahini (army) created by Govt & Admin up to present (May, 17) have killed 8 people, disabled some 30 people forever and tormented several thousands of people through beating. Along with these a certain woman who was raped by a prominent cadre of Bangla Bhai have committed suicide. All these activities have unveiled the extreme reactionary characteristics of the Govt & Admin. This craziness of the reactionaries are surely significant.

         Although Govt & Admin had started killing and torturing under the banner of Bangla Bhai from the 1st April 2004, none of the political parties of our country (Awami league, Jamayat, Jatiyo party etc.) or so-called left parties (Workers party, CPB etc.) have uttered any sound against this oppression and torture. Though some virtuous journalists reported the facts, the editors or the newspaper owners didn’t allow that to publish. The only reason is – all these are anti-revolutionaries. So each of them expects the elimination of the revolutionaries. When Govt & Admin putting off the apparels of law had started the procedure to eliminate the revolutionaries by creating so-called Bangla Bhai, all these political parties were rejoicing madly in hidden pleasure. Only when their own activists were attacked, they were protesting mildly. But why all the opposition parties, newspapers and a part of the ruling party also talking against that Bangla Bhai from last week? The reason is, from then the brave guerrillas of CPEB (ML) [Red Flag] have started taking retaliation by counter attack. Attacking on that private army the guerrillas have annihilated two members at night on last 6th May, 2004. And by this a flurry spread among the people that, by this tern the CPEB (ML) [Red Flag] have started to annihilate the torturous Bangla bahini, now on it will be continued; the Party will lead the people to eradicate the mass-oppressors. In the last days those evil persons, who were thinking that the revolutionaries could be eliminated by the Bangla bahini, now they have realized that their loving Bangla Bhai might be failed. In that case the CPEB (ML) [Red Flag] will establish in a firm base over greater Rajshahi and its impact will influence the whole country, and with that the characteristics of the reactionary parties will be unveiled to the people. So these evil persons in a very short period appearing a new guise, have taken anti-Bangla Bhai stand.

     In Khulna Division bringing down the so-called combined force, Govt is killing the revolutionary cadres in a planned way. Meanwhile this combined force has killed near about 50 leaders and cadres of the other revolutionary parties or factions. About this killing sometimes they are saying of mass-beating, sometimes of gun-fight and sometimes saying that the revolutionaries have killed in firing when they tried to flee away – which are completely false. The fact is that: these revolutionaries were plan fully killed in cold blood. At the night of last 12th May, a certain coward army officer have killed two members of our Party’s Khustia-Chuadanga-Meherpur Zonal Organizing Committee, Com. Jenarul alias Selim and Com. Johny alias Saban by gun shot in the dark of night. And then they have proclaimed that, when their associates tried to attack for snatching them, they were supposed to try to flee, so they have been shot and they were died. But the fact is: on 12th May, in the morning the combined force arrested those two Comrades while they were sleeping, and at night on the same day, that coward officer took them at a garden at Bamanagar village, and killed them in cold blood. At the same night a notorious agent of administration, Asha and his associates disfigured the dead bodies separating their hands, legs and tongues. The next morning police took the dead bodies away.

         Sending the army officials of the country into so-called combined operation, transferring them from their claimed real duties & responsibilities, and nakedly using them to suppress the revolutionaries, Govt has pushed those officials towards complete moral degradation. The army officers of the combined force are telling lie after killing the revolutionaries – involving  in various hateful offensive activities including secretly earning money by threatening the people. With this activities the moral courage of the army officers are bound to be broken down. It is not bad but good and significant.

    In Pabna zone Govt & Admin has taken the method of killing the revolutionaries by organizing the private army of the class enemies such as Montu-Sayed-Sahid Bahini during Awami regime and Rouf Bahini during BNP regime. Up to now this killer army has killed 3 Party cadres and 6 general people, from January, 2004. Administration is harassing the accusers if they went to file cases against these killers. The situation went so far that, in presence of police Montu, Rouf and others killed two BNP leaders, Bulu and Ayub Ali, ages 50, suspecting that those leaders had connection with our Party. Though we had no connection with those BNP leaders Bulu and Ayub Ali. These incidents prove, how much desperate the reactionary Govt & Admin have been, to eliminate the CPEB (ML) [Red Flag]. It is also heard for a few days that, the Govt and Admin connecting with those killer groups, under the banner of Bangla Bhai, are preparing a blue print of killing and mass torturing.

           The above mentioned activities prove that, being unable to rule and oppress the masses by the old methods, the ruling classes are compelled to adapt new methods. The anger of the people upon the traditional system is gradually increasing, and along with this increasing conflict have been started to spread among the ruling classes also. All these circumstances are carrying the significance that a tide has come in the revolutionary situation. The duty of leading it to the proper direction has lay down on the shoulder of the Communist Revolutionaries. Mao Tsetung had taught us “A well-disciplined Party, armed with the theory of Marxism-Leninism, using the method of self-criticism and linked with the masses of the people, an army under the leadership of such a Party; a united front of all revolutionary classes and all revolutionary groups under the leadership of such a Party — these are the three main weapons with which we have defeated the enemy.” According to this guide line of Comrade Mao, whether we could be able to take advantage of the existing revolutionary situation or not, it depends upon how much we shall be successful in the effort of building party, army and united front.

       As the fascist Mujib Govt established the activities of Rakshi Bahini above the Law in 1972-75, so at present in a new form Khaleda Zia Govt establishing the combined force and Bangla Bhai Bahini above the Law, have granted them certificate of killing, injuring, raping and collecting tolls; and thus these army are doing so proudly. All reactionary political parties are cooperating with this tactful attack of the reactionary Government directly or indirectly to eliminate the revolutionary forces. Today the leader of imperialists, the US Imperialist has directly involved with the Govt in this process of elimination of the revolutionaries, counseling them secretly and openly giving Hippocratic speech. This circumstances bringing the demand of establishing unity among the revolutionary parties and factions in front. But the reality is: we are split. To those, who are conducting armed struggle accepting Marxism-Leninism-Maoism as the guiding theoretical basis, our invitation is: let us ask ourselves some questions – (1) Are we suffering in such feudal arrogance that only we are good in all aspect and others have no good quality? (2) Though clearly be seen it is wrong even then are we prepared to correct it? (3) Do we have mentality to learn from other’s noble quality? (4) Which should be the principal consideration – conducting revolution or establishing own self? (5) Do we have the Communist mentality of rejecting the false and holding high the truth? If all the answers are in favour of revolution, we think the base of unity among us might be unveiled. Let us introduce sincerity to stop fighting among ourselves and build up a friendly relation – which is essential for revolution and is the demand of time.

       To maintain the oppression and exploitation of the reactionary ruling class Govt & Admin taking the combined force and the private army, covered with religious guise, have jumped over the masses and the revolutionaries. In the face of this attack of the enemies, we must have to advance to the way of counter attack. Because offence is the best way of defense. To face with the attack of the enemy, arouse the masses of the basic classes in a planned way, consider their advice giving importance; at the same time inflict the lethal blow on the enemy in guerilla fashion. In apparent view the enemy is strong, but ultimately the people, and only the people are strong. Being resolute in sacrifice, not being frightened by any fear, if we work hard selflessly to arouse the masses and at the same time can blow the enemy on and on, then we must be successful in destroying the enemy. In this ase the method is like eating of one plate rice. We cannot eat one plate rice at one loaf, but we can finish the whole meal of the plate by one after another loaf. This method is the own method of people’s army . Let us apply it and advance to the way of victory.
